Hiring of all staff, managing the team by promoting teamwork, as well as leading, training and mentoring.
Implement policies and procedures to achieve high levels of excellence in all aspects of food, beverage, guest experience and day-to-day operations.
Develop operational policies and procedures that drive revenues, service quality, day-to-day efficiency and best practices to reduce/maintain cost.
Ensure food and beverage initiatives are coordinated with all stakeholders.
A thorough knowledge of provincial and local regulations for food and beverage.
Ensures all accounting policies and procedures are completed in a timely manner, responsible for purchases, costs, variances and implementing corrective actions to the budget.
Ensure that all HR practices and policies are adhered to.
Requirements
3 - 5 years experience in an upscale restaurant management position and proven ability to manage and maintain the highest level of service excellence and profitability
Strong knowledge of food, wine and cocktails
Proven ability to increase sales and drive traffic
Strong leadership and mentorship skills, communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
Able to lift 50lbs
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
