Department Overview Motorola Fixed Video is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced senior technical writer. This is a full-time position that will own the documentation for our Access Control Manager (ACM) product.



Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for the planning, writing, and publishing of documentation deliverables for any type of hardware or software product release from kick-off to market launch, as either the sole responsible writer or as the senior member of a team.

Producing the best in class user-facing documentation

Driving and executing on improvements in user experience through cross-functional collaboration and leading by influence.

Analyzing processes and tools and building consensus to ensure their continuing effectiveness in delivering to and aligning with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s business objectives.

Sponsoring/championing creative solutions that improve documentation deliverables.

Developing and presenting business cases to executive management and/or other teams for buy-in and/or approval.

Enabling team growth by onboarding and mentoring new employees, and supporting recruitment activities.

Demonstrating the ability to work within constraints through creative problem solving and open collaboration with both internal and external teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experienced with multiple publication types, including online content syndication

Employs a customer-centric approach, with experience in delivering great customer experiences for technical content

Skilled with consensus building with separate teams across the business

Drive process improvements

HTML experience a must.

Basic Requirements

Required Skills:

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in Communications, Computer Science, Research, Writing, Technology

Experienced with Madcap Flare, Git repositories, and localization workflows required.
