Video & Audio Production Role: You\xe2\x80\x99ll work with a creative pastor to produce several projects for Open Door and your portfolio. The Video Production Team will create, edit and produce multiple short video projects to help viewers rethink their actions, increase compassion and to take action in our community! Projects will be divided between educational/inspiration and promotional. Audio work will also include preparing archived sermons for web and podcast publishing. While duties and responsibilities will depend on skills and passions, typical tasks will include:

• Dream, design and create projects that are in line with Open Door\'s values and approved by a supervisor
• Prepare, Script, Plan, Film, Edit and Produce multiple short videos primarily for internet distribution
• Audio editing and production for current and previous projects
• Additional projects as time and skills allow

Qualifications:

• Creative ability and passion to produce projects listed above
• Organizational skills to carry a project from planning to completion
• Filming and Editing skills and education
• Proficiency in software and hardware related to video and audio editing
• Preference given to applicants looking to enter a related career field
• This is job funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs program.

Start date is July 4, 2023 for a period of 8 weeks. The Video Production Team will report directly to the Lead Pastor and produce several projects beneficial to both Open Door and their portfolio.
