Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing and we're looking for a strategic leader to shape the future of our real estate footprint as Vice President, Real Estate & Facilities. Based out of our Surrey Head Office, you'll lead a focused, high-performing team responsible for leasing, design, construction, and facilities across our branches nationwide. In this pivotal role, you'll drive the evolution of our national real estate strategy - ensuring our spaces scale with growth, boost operational efficiency, and deliver meaningful, modern workplaces and customer experiences. Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $180,000 to $220,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

Once here, you'll:
  • Develop and lead Westland's national real estate strategy, ensuring alignment with growth and operational goals
  • Oversee site selection, lease negotiations, relocations, renovations, and workplace optimization
  • Lead the Leasing Administration, Facilities, Design, and Construction team
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, sustainability, and accessibility standards
  • Manage external vendors, landlords, and real estate partners
  • Drive timely, on-budget project delivery aligned with Westland's brand and workplace standards
  • Build and manage operating and capital budgets, track KPIs, and ensure cost-effective real estate decisions
  • Act as a key advisor to the EVP Distribution, and collaborate closely with internal departments including Finance, Legal, and M&A
