As the Vice President, IT Services and Operations, you will be responsible for managing the overall IT operations, directing and optimizing the delivery of IT services at Westland Insurance. In this role you will lead the department to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Westland\'s technology platform and support services nationally across all branches, regional offices, and acquisitions.

Why we\'ll love You:

• Extensive experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on IT services, operations, and infrastructure management
• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Strong technical background and up-to-date knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies
• Successfully leading large-scale IT initiatives and driving digital transformation
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire , foster collaboration, and motivate teams
• In-depth knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Relevant professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or CISM are desirable. CMMi and COBIT expertise are an asset

Once here, you\'ll:

• Drive the organization\'s technology strategy, ensuring the reliable and efficient delivery of IT services, and driving operational excellence.
• Lead and optimize the organization\'s IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud platforms, cloud services and telecommunications.
• Develop and implement IT operational policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the security, availability, and integrity of IT systems and data
• Build and develop a high-performing IT services and operations team, providing strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to drive employee engagement and professional growth
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IT department
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring effective vendor management and contract negotiations
• Develop and manage the IT services and operations annual operating plan, ensuring the optimal allocation of financial and human resources to support business needs. Monitor and control costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting
• Collaborate with Information Security group and Implement IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks to safeguard the organization\'s information assets
