Are you a Veterinary Technician who is good at restraint, comfortable running surgery with support, and a strong team player that is looking for ways to advance your skills? If you are comfortable driving regularly, a "people's person," a genuine pet lover, with good communication and problem-solving skills, then we are looking for YOU!! This is a permanent full-time position with training provided.

Prepare the patient for surgery, induction, intubation. Surgical equipment washing, sterilization and maintenance Monitoring the patient pre/peri/post surgery. Obtain basic vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration data Dental prophylaxis Obtain patient history Maintain clinic records including pet treatment and laboratory documents Ability to sit and kneel for potentially long periods of time to assist with exams & treatment. Perform laboratory tasks Proper restraint for various radiology images and to be able to take X-Rays Venipuncture and collecting lab samples Prepare prescriptions Administer medication to patients Explain post-visit procedures to owners Answering phones and setting appointments if required Care for hospitalized patients Comfortable and willing to do house calls is a must Pay commensurate with experience

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
