We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team on weekends.

As a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at Spall and Harvey Animal Hospital, you will play a vital role in the care and well-being of our patients. You will work directly with our veterinary team to provide exceptional medical care, assist with surgeries, perform diagnostic procedures, and support both our clients and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in veterinary procedures and surgeries. Monitor anesthesia and assist in emergency and critical care situations. Perform diagnostic tests such as blood draws, urinalysis, radiographs, and lab work. Educate clients on animal care, treatments, and preventive measures. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary standards. Provide compassionate care to all patients and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Active and current RVT license. 1-2 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital (preferred). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and client-focused attitude. Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced situations. Strong organizational and time management skills. Availability to work weekend shifts (8-hour shifts, Saturdays and Sundays).
