Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who excels in customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in managing client communications, assisting with administrative tasks, and supporting the veterinary team. Experience in a veterinary or medical setting is preferred, and laboratory experience is a valuable asset.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring an exceptional first and last impression
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage client inquiries efficiently
Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including updates to medical histories
Assist with client check-in and check-out procedures
Process payments and handle billing accurately
Support laboratory tasks and assist with diagnostic & Treatment procedures as needed
Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment plans, follow-ups, and care instructions
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and inviting
Support the veterinary team with administrative duties to ensure smooth clinic operations
Qualifications
Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or animal-care setting preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong customer service skills with a positive, approachable, and calm demeanor
Professional appearance with polished presentation
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, often-changing environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Resourceful, self-driven, and eager to learn
Exceptional telephone etiquette, active listening skills, and "bedside manner"
Ability to handle client concerns with patience and professionalism
Proficient with computers and able to learn new software systems quickly
