RVT for a small animal/exotics practice with urgent care services.

Mahalo Veterinary Hospital, located in beautiful Nanaimo BC, is a growing, privately owned hospital. We are currently look to add to our team of Registered Veterinary Technologists(RVT) at our practice. Qualifications

Ideally 2-3 years experience working as an RVT in good standing with the BCVTA
Experience with surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery
Experience with dental radiography and prophylaxis
Urgent care experience including; patient triaging, CPR, and critical care
Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
Compassionate care for patients, clients and colleagues
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Passion for professional growth and development
Experience with ezyVet software would be a bonus but not required!

Job Type: Full time, 40 hours/week, 10 hours/days Monday to Sunday.

Salary range: $30-$40/hour commensurate with experience

Relocation bonus: Preference for those available to work or have a reasonable commute to Nanaimo, British Columbia. For the right candidate relocation bonus is open to discussion.
