Paws on Fraser Veterinary Hospital is a locally owned, general practice companion animal hospital in the vibrant neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant/Kensington-Cedar Cottage. We are a busy 4.5 vet practice focused on providing compassionate, quality, full service medical and surgical veterinary care for our patients.
Our practice is growing and we are looking for an experienced receptionist to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with the potential to expand into a head reception position or part of the management team.
We believe excellent care begins with our veterinary receptionists. We are looking for a compassionate individual with excellent communication and organizational skills and who has previous experience in the veterinary field.
We value a team approach to care, and promote a work culture that is supportive, hard working and fun at the same time. We also value snacks and provide lots of them at work!
The ideal candidate shares these qualities, wants to build relationships with clients and their pets, is a great multitasker and demonstrates attention to detail.
Qualifications and experience:
Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with practice management software, ideally DaySmart Vet
A passion for animal care and a dedication to providing excellent customer service
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
