What you'll do

Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing an inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle billing inquiries efficiently. Assist veterinarians with animal restraint, medication administration, and basic procedures during examinations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and treatment rooms to promote a safe environment. Educate pet owners on proper pet care, including nutrition, vaccination schedules, and preventative health measures. Handle incoming calls with professionalism, addressing client questions or concerns promptly. Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth operations within the clinic. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment to support daily operations effectively.

Basic qualifications

Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage clients effectively. Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately in various situations.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is is not necessarily desired . Familiarity with veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques is proffered but not required . Experience in kennel management or animal husbandry practices is a plus. Proficiency in front desk operations including scheduling software and patient management systems.
