Duties

Greet clients warmly, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression for all visitors Schedule appointments efficiently, accommodating urgent cases and routine visits alike Manage incoming calls, providing clear information about services, procedures, and pet care advice Collect payments and process medical billing with accuracy and attention to detail Maintain accurate records of patient information, medical histories, and treatment plans Handle medical collections diligently to ensure timely payments while maintaining compassionate communication with pet owners Keep the reception area organized, tidy, and stocked with necessary supplies for pet care and administrative functions

Requirements

Previous experience in veterinary reception or customer service within an animal care setting is highly preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, restraint techniques, and pet care practices Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and external vendors Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques while demonstrating compassion and patience Basic proficiency in veterinary critical care procedures such as animal catheterization or emergency response support is desirable A genuine passion for animal welfare combined with a proactive attitude to learn new skills in veterinary medicine

Pay: $15.00-$17.50 per hour
