Veterinary Receptionist

Welcome to our 4 year young Independently owned, fear free centred small animal practice in the beautiful semi-rural Cowichan Valley. Outstanding communication skills driven by a strong foundation in emotional intelligence*
Previous experience in a vet clinic, or strong experience in customer service*
Commitment to showing Initiative, efficiency and accountability*
Computer skills, ability to multitask, organize and prioritize.*
Resilience in the face of emotional situations, and ability to stay calm in stressful situations*
A strong dedication to and understanding of teamwork*
A high school diploma or equivalent.*
A positive attitude, genuine love of animals, and eagerness to learn*

Duties:

Greeting clients and patients professionally and checking them into appointments*
Answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, reminder calls, handling medications, invoicing, processing payments and presenting estimates.*
Management of patient records, scanning and filing.*
Act as a liaison between clients, vets and technicians, via phone, in person, and email communications.*
Keep the reception area clean and tidy, unpack orders, organize special orders*

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
