Our practice is growing and so is our team! Let your veterinary assistant and customer service skills shine at our privately owned small animal practice that is located in the Crestview area of Winnipeg. We are open Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm and Saturdays 9am - 1pm, shifts may vary.

We are looking for a motivated self-starter who has outstanding organizational skills who pays strong attention to detail with superb abilities to communicate effectively and efficiently in both verbal and written communication. Previous experience working in the veterinary industry considered an asset!

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Assist RVTs and DVMs in providing care to animals
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Clean and maintain all areas of the clinic
- Count inventory and supplies received, stock shelves and put away
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, filing, faxing, emailing
- Provide top-notch customer service!

Pay: $15.80-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

4 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:

Winnipeg, MB R2Y 2J2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred) Front desk: 1 year (preferred) Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
