Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring the well-being of their pets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and veterinary practices, enabling them to assist customers effectively and empathetically.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to pet owners by addressing inquiries and concerns regarding their pets' health and care. Utilize veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with clients about their pets' conditions and treatments. Handle animals safely and humanely, demonstrating proper animal restraint techniques during interactions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques when necessary. Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Document client interactions accurately in the system for future reference. Answer incoming phone calls from clients, providing accurate information and assistance as needed. Preform follow up and appointment confirmation phone calls. Monitor clinic emails and respond to emails as required. Manage and respond to Google reviews, maintaining a respectful and professional tone at all times. Assist with social media accounts (ie. facebook, Instagram). Create and schedule engaging social media content.

Requirements

Previous experience in veterinary settings or animal care environments is preferred. Familiarity with Avimark is an asset. Experience with handling of dogs and cats. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to create and manage basic content.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
