The Opportunity

We are seeking a

Veterinary Assistant

to join our growing medical team. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about animal care. You will play a vital role in supporting veterinarians and RVTs while ensuring patients receive attentive, gentle care throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and RVTs with patient handling, treatments, and procedures Prepare exam rooms and surgical areas; clean and sterilize equipment Provide compassionate care to patients before, during, and after procedures Support laboratory work, imaging, and sample preparation as directed Maintain accurate patient records and assist with inventory and stocking Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes to the medical team Support clinic flow and teamwork during busy periods Uphold hospital protocols, safety standards, and cleanliness
Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in an animal-care role preferred (training provided for the right candidate) Comfortable handling animals of varying temperaments and sizes Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility A genuine passion for animal welfare and client service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
