Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist Job Opportunity in Edmonton, AB at Lakeview Animal Hospital

We are offering a exciting opportunity for a part time, with the future potential of full-time, receptionist to join our team. We are a full-service Veterinary Hospital, located in Southside Edmonton. We are looking to hire someone who's main focus is providing exceptional care to join our team of energetic and hard-working individuals.

Primary responsibilities include:

-Providing excellent service to our clients and their pets

-Ability to answer a multi-line phone system as well as track and book appointments effectively

-Invoicing/billing; obtaining pet owner confirmation and processing payments efficiently

-Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting people at ease and creating a welcoming environment

-Ensuring cleanliness of the reception area, pet holding areas and common areas

-Ensuring treatment areas are clean, disinfected and restocked

-Willingness to learn veterinary terminology and the ability to use it when appropriate

As well as assisting our Veterinarians and Technicians when needed, among other duties. Strong interpersonal skills are a must and an attention to detail. The ideal candidate is great with clients, pets and is comfortable with the basic skills of an assistant role for our canine and feline patients. If interested, please text your resume.

Experience:

Experience with handling animals is preferred
