West Springs Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we're looking for a compassionate, client-focused

Veterinary Technician Assistant

who can also shine as part of our

Client Care

(reception) team.

This is a dual-role position for someone who understands that exceptional veterinary care begins the moment a client walks through our doors--or picks up the phone. If you're energized by creating warm, memorable experiences for pets and their people, this role is for you.

About the Role

This position beautifully blends hands-on patient care with meaningful client interactions.

You will:

Be a warm, welcoming presence at the front desk--greeting clients, answering phones, providing updates, and supporting a smooth flow from arrival to checkout Assist veterinarians and RVTs with patient handling, treatments, and daily clinical tasks Act as a bridge between departments to ensure clients feel supported and informed at every step Help create a positive, calm, organized environment where pets and owners feel genuinely cared for

What You Bring

Experience in a Veterinary Assistant or Technician Assistant role (

required

) A true passion for exceptional client service Warm, confident communication skills A calm, caring presence in busy or emotional moments A team-focused mindset, with the ability to support both clinical and reception areas A desire to contribute to a client journey that feels seamless, supportive, and compassionate
