Responsibilities
Greet clients and their pets in a courteous and professional manner upon arrival.
Schedule and coordinate appointments while efficiently managing the clinic's calendar.
Answer telephone calls and address client inquiries regarding services, medications, and general pet care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the clinic management system.
Process payments and address billing inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff to ensure continuity of patient care.
Ensure the front desk and waiting areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Skills
Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology.
Experience in animal handling, including dog handling and animal restraint techniques.
Background in kennel operations or animal husbandry preferred.
Previous experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
