Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Veterinary Assistant / CSR

to join our team. In this role, you will support veterinarians in providing high-quality care to animals, ensuring their health and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in a fast-paced veterinary environment, including patient care and client communication.

Key Duties:

Support veterinarians during exams and procedures by safely handling animals and preparing equipment. Maintain a clean and organized clinic, including sterilizing instruments and keeping exam rooms tidy. Monitor hospitalized animals, noting any changes in behavior or health and reporting to the veterinarian. Provide compassionate, low-stress care to all animals during their stay. Manage front-desk responsibilities: answer phones, schedule appointments, and communicate with clients about services, procedures, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Skills & Qualities:

Previous experience in a veterinary or animal clinic setting Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying detail-oriented Compassionate and patient, with a genuine love for animals Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively Willingness to learn new techniques and procedures in veterinary care
