In this role, you will develop strategies and campaigns that build awareness of WaitWell among healthcare providers, identify niche markets with the strongest product-market fit, and create programs that generate meaningful pipeline. You will act as the subject-matter expert for the healthcare vertical, partnering closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to position WaitWell as the preferred solution for patient-centric service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Positioning
Research healthcare industry trends, challenges, and regulations to inform go-to-market strategy.
Identify and prioritize healthcare sub-segments (e.g., urgent care, imaging/diagnostics, specialty clinics) where WaitWell has the strongest product-market fit.
Build and refine healthcare-specific buyer personas and messaging frameworks.
Campaigns & Content
Design and execute integrated campaigns (email, digital, webinars, ABM) targeting healthcare decision-makers.
Develop industry-focused content, including white papers, case studies, solution briefs, and thought leadership articles.
Collaborate with product marketing to adapt materials to healthcare use cases.
Sales Enablement
Create vertical-specific playbooks, sales decks, and competitive positioning guides.
Provide the sales team with insights, talking points, and content tailored to healthcare audiences.
Events & Partnerships
Identify and manage WaitWell's presence at healthcare conferences, trade shows, and professional associations.
Build relationships with healthcare influencers, analysts, and industry organizations to increase brand visibility.
Analytics & Impact
Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of healthcare marketing programs.
Continuously optimize strategies to improve awareness, engagement, and pipeline contribution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
3-5 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or healthcare technology.
Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and trends, especially in patient flow, access, or service delivery (preferred)
Experience creating targeted campaigns and vertical-specific content.
Proficiency with marketing automation (e.g., Clay, Instantly), CRM (e.g., HubSpot), and analytics tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Location:
This is a hybrid position based in Calgary. WaitWell places a high value on teamwork, collaboration, and culture. A minimum of three days a week will be required at our Calgary office with the option to two remotely for the other two days, however standard office hours will be expected. Extensive travel across North America (up to 20%) will be required for the role.
