Do you want to be a part of driving the transition?Our Project team are currently seeking a Vendor Coordinator to join the team! This position will be based in our St. John's office and will act as a key interface between onshore vendor support and the Offshore Newfoundland team.What will you be doing?

  • Act as the primary contact for vendor partners
  • Review existing contracts to confirm budget is available to cover vendor support requirements
  • Develop scope of work with Commissioning experts and Engineers
  • Contact vendors to obtain service rates and/or budgetary proposal
  • Review schedules to confirm vendor requirements,
  • Expedite change orders through procurement
  • Coordinate vendor support activities including resource planning, mobilization scheduling and logistic requirements
  • Work with the planners to proactively identify issues and potential solutions.
  • Create central contracts with the most qualified vendor available, based on site requirements, location, history, current workload and cost
  • Liaise with construction/commissioning/start up and project management in planning vendor requirements
  • Identify and offer cost effective solutions to both Aker Solutions and client.
We think you should have:
  • A minimum 8 years of experience within Sub-Contracts or as a Vendor Coordinator.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
