Vehicle Acquisition Specialist - Muskoka Nissan
We are looking for a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team and play a key role in growing our pre-owned department. This position is focused on sourcing the right vehicles, driving consistent inventory flow, and ensuring profitability through disciplined acquisition practices.

Key Responsibilities
Execute and deliver a comprehensive vehicle acquisition strategy that supports dealership sales and profitability goals.
Maintain consistent monthly acquisition volume through multiple channels including auctions, private sellers, service lanes, and CRM outreach.
Proactively generate leads and follow up with private sellers and service customers to drive acquisition opportunities.
Appraise vehicles accurately and fairly, ensuring trade ins and purchases meet dealership standards.
Identify and target high demand, fast turning models that align with customer demand and maximize profit margins.
Diversify acquisition sources to strengthen cost control and reduce reliance on auctions.
Manage acquisition profitability by balancing CTM, reconditioning expenses, and market readiness.
Collaborate with the GSM to review acquisition performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Partner with service and sales teams to uncover acquisition opportunities through daily customer interactions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, auction reps, and private sellers to secure ongoing inventory opportunities.
Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive sales, appraisals, or vehicle acquisition preferred.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and identify profitable opportunities.
