Vegan Diner Dishwasher/server
Job Description
Wage: $17.60 an hour.
Consistent wage raises each 6 months, to a max of $19.60 per hour.
Tips: Equal split among all staff that work that day. (estimated: $60-$120 for two shifts per week. Tips are earned after first 2 training shifts.)
Hours: Evenings, starting at 1:30pm or 3:30pm for serving shifts (depending on the day), and 5pm for dishwashing shifts. Both shifts end around 10:30-11pm.
Shifts: We are currently able to offer 2 dishwashing shifts a week, and only 1 serving shift. These roles have been blended for maximum schedule flexibility and shift availability, but don't hesitate to apply if you're only interested in one position.

Position:
Dishwashing - Washing dishes, general cleaning tasks, light prep. (Cutting collards greens and romaine, spinning romaine, punching french fries.)
Serving - Cash handling, seating customers, clearing tables, making drinks, placing orders and running food to tables.
Restaurant:
Fast-paced Vegan diner with a focus on fried comfort food including soy wings, burgers and fries. Delivery makes up most of our orders, but we also have many customers who dine-in.
Bonus: Free meal for yourself during each shift.
Additional: We are a "All Hands On Deck!" kind of place! You will be asked to help in other parts of the restaurant when needed. This is a job for someone who likes a variety of tasks and likes learning new things.
We need someone who:
- Has open availability and is willing to work weekends
- Has prior restaurant experience (in any position) or customer service experience
- Has a go-getter attitude and loves a challenge
- Is comfortable working in a diverse team
