We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and managing the dining area efficiently.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining excellent time management skills. Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering duties. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with sanitation and food handling regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong background in food service or the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of basic math for processing payments and managing transactions. Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not mandatory. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role. Pay: $17.20 per hour
