About the Role

As a

City Tour Guide

, you'll be the face of our tourism experiences, leading groups through Vancouver and surrounding areas while bringing the city's culture, history, and attractions to life. Whether it's exploring Stanley Park, Gastown, Granville Island, or breathtaking natural landscapes, you'll create engaging and memorable tours for visitors from around the world.

Location:

Office near Knight St. & SW Marine in South Vancouver. Most tours start in Vancouver.

Schedule:

4-5 days a week, including Saturdays and some Sundays.

Your Responsibilities

Lead engaging and informative city tours daily. Provide insightful commentary on Vancouver's history, culture, and key attractions. Ensure a fun, safe, and smooth experience for all guests. Plan and coordinate pre-booked tourism activities with local attractions. Train and onboard new part-time tour guides. Optimize and update tour routes for efficiency. Track and manage tour expenses; audit invoices as needed. Assist in creating training materials and researching best practices. Report daily updates and key issues to the team.

What We're Looking For

Strong knowledge of Vancouver's landmarks, history, and cultural attractions. Exceptional storytelling and public speaking skills. Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused personality. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. A team player with a solution-seeking mindset. Valid

BC Class 5 Driver's License

to start (Class 4 required within three months; company will train and pay for licensing).

What We Offer

Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 base + tips

Tips:

$1,500 - $2,000 per month

Total Compensation Target:

$63,000 - $75,000 per year
