Start Date: April/May 2025 Work Hours: Seasonal, Full-time + Part-time roles available Location: Downtown Vancouver Wages: $20.00/hour + commission + gratuities

Are you passionate about living in Vancouver and love public speaking? Do you enjoy entertaining friends and family with stories about your favourite restaurant or attraction in the city? If so, our Hop-On Hop-Off Step-On Guide role may be a fit for your outgoing personality. You will work a flexible full-time or part-time schedule onboard our buses, providing engaging and entertaining commentary to visitors from around the world as well as selling tickets for the tour.


YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE• Conducting safe, orderly, informative, and entertaining sightseeing tours for up to 80 guests
• Providing live tour commentary
• Communicate and work as a team with your driver to follow the route and included stops
• Selling and booking tickets for our Hop-On Hop-Off tour, sightseeing tours + attractions to guests through a handheld point of sale system
• Assisting Tour Drivers by issuing tickets on-board buses
• Promoting our walking tour, partner attractions and online reviews
• Being friendly and welcoming to all guests and team members
• Professionally handle guest queries and concerns
• Providing outstanding customer service to build personal relationships with guests


WHAT WE WILL LIKE ABOUT YOU• You have previous experience working in a customer service or hospitality-based role
• You have a friendly + outgoing personality with a guest first focus
• You can work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team
• You have excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• You possess problem solving, attention to detail, and time management skills
• You have the flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule, available to work any day of the week, including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays
• You are fluent in English, written and oral. The ability to speak a second language is an asset.
• In-depth Vancouver knowledge is an asset
• Previous Tour Guiding experience is an asset
