OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner for a single vacation rental property. This mostly seasonal accommodation requires infrequent flips, with thorough attention to detail. The ideal candidate requires a proactive approach to household tasks, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently.

The position involves cleaning and setting up the house for vacationing guests, with a keen attention to detail and general meticulousness in setting up the home. This is more than a cleaning position, as you may be needed for other maintenance at times (e.g. stocking firewood for the bonfire, etc.).

This position is in the Baxters Harbour area, on North Mountain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

:

thorough cleaning, laundry, and setting up of the property for guests the right person will be able to navigate all digital communication seamlessly, such as sending and coordinating communication with the property owner through photos, videos and shared Google Drive files, as well as norms such as e-transfers and timely text responses a flexibility to resolve issues that arise, and potentially help coordinate issues on site, which may arise report any issues that need attending to, and be willing to help resolve (such as unexpectedly restocking a missing consumable item) the ideal candidate is savvy with home maintenance and attention to detail, and is able to remedy situations when they come across them a proactive approach is required to identify and attend to issues before they are a larger situation maintain household and cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are organized and in good working condition the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively trustworthy
Lastly, a personable and collaborative approach is required for this position.

HOURS

May to November; depending on bookings.

RENUMERATION

$35/hr; self-employed
