What You Will Be Doing Exciting career opportunity in a Worldwide Engineering Organization, in designing and implementing a new generation of products and solutions that are transformational in nature. In this position, you will play a key role in designing and building a state-of-the-art Application suite to modernize the Smart Buildings and Infrastructure space. Unique opportunity to work with some of the smartest minds in this space and create smart solutions from ground up. Location: Toronto, Ontario Essential Duties & Responsibilities In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to design, direct and help implement visualization and user experience for a high-profile enterprise SASS application and platform.

• Gather and evaluate user requirements. Experience with conducting and applying customer research, including design thinking, prototyping, and conceptual modelling.
• Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills: you can demonstrate the ability to work with product and engineering partners, solicit and synthesize feedback, and facilitate design discussions.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how product functions and looks.
• Create original graphic designs (images, sketches and tables).
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems.
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.

• Bachelors or Masters in Design, or relevant experience plus certifications.
• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
• Portfolio of design projects.
• Knowledge of wireframe and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, InVision).
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.
• Attention to detailed and clear interaction design specifications.
• Team spirit - strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across different time zones.
• Good time-management skills.
