Job Description

TITUS is currently seeking an enthusiastic User Experience (UX) Designer to join our Engineering team. We are looking for a self-motivated and energetic individual with experience in designing and developing engaging user experiences for commercial enterprise software applications. This individual will require strong interpersonal, problem solving skills and an aptitude for collaboration and open communication with our Product Management and Engineering teams within an agile environment.

As a User Experience Designer, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Influence and evangelize the value of a good UI design and propose the desired changes needed to the development process to enable it.
• Ability to influence, build trust, brainstorm and collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Development, QA and Managers to create brilliant user interfaces.
• Work as part of multiple project teams, using Agile methodologies
• Actively increase knowledge of user experience by gathering information through research, understanding the landscape, keeping up to date with the latest trends and practices in interaction design, testing and user research. Apply this knowledge to designs
• Define, design and present workflows through a storyboard
• Design the detailed look and interactivity of a UI working with a Graphic Designer.
• Create low-fi and hi-fi UI prototypes, including animation and basic interactivity.
• Conduct usability testing, determine when it\xe2\x80\x99s needed, design and run tests.
• Consult and resolve UI design issues
• The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge and technical expertise:
• Undergraduate or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Interaction design, Human Computer Interaction or other demonstrable experience
• At least 3 years of experience in User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction

Assets:

• Experience in design of Windows desktop UI applications
• Experience in design of interactive Web browser applications
• Experience in design of mobile apps for iPad, iPhone and Android
• Work in the development of Enterprise (B2B) software
• Experience with common software project management and development practices
