About the Position As the US Tax Specialist you\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with our clients and calculate their taxes including returns, liabilities, deductions, and expenses. You will review the accuracy of data on tax forms based on all tax rules and regulations. To succeed in this role, it\xe2\x80\x99s important to have advanced mathematical skills and the ability to analyze complex data. Summary of Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Demonstrating an understanding of tax concepts and application of tax knowledge as it relates to U.S Individual federal and state income tax compliance. \xc2\xb7 Preparing and reviewing U.S individual tax returns. \xc2\xb7 Conducting tax research at federal and state levels, thoroughly analyzing U.S cross border tax issues. \xc2\xb7 Making informed decisions in sometimes complex cross border tax areas. \xc2\xb7 Reviewing client\xe2\x80\x99s files for completeness and following up for missing information. \xc2\xb7 Establishing and maintaining working relationships with clients. Summary of Experience \xc2\xb7 IRS Enrolled Agent or US CPA designation is an asset Requirements: \xc2\xb7 College or University degree \xc2\xb7 US tax compliance knowledge \xc2\xb7 Exposure to cross-border compliance \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Great Ideas.
