Renaissance Montessori Academy is a licensed, non-profit Montessori childcare centre dedicated to providing a calm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where every child is seen as capable, curious, and full of potential.
Position Overview:
We are urgently seeking a passionate and experienced
Level 3 Early Childhood Educator
with aMontessori background
to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, professionalism, and a love for working with children aged 18 months to 6 years.Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a calm, child-centered Montessori environment Implement Montessori principles through daily routines and activities Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development Communicate effectively with families and team members Ensure compliance with Alberta Child Care Licensing standards
Qualifications:
- Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certificate (required)
- Montessori training or classroom experience (preferred)
- Current First Aid/CPR and Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork
Schedule:
Part-time (morning and/or afternoon shifts) Immediate start
