ECE PlayLab is a

brand new Reggio Emilia Inspired early learning program

located in the heart of

Kingsland, Calgary

. Rooted in the belief that the Environment is a child's third teacher, our space is intentionally designed to inspire curiosity, wonder, and meaningful connections. . Our program is

grounded in early childhood research

and led by an experienced team with advanced qualifications in education leadership, curriculum design, and child development. We are currently seeking

full-time Level 3 Early Childhood Educators, aka a Play Advocate

who share our belief in learning through play and are excited to work in a warm, collaborative, and cozy environment.

Your responsibilities and primary duties

Observe and document children's learning in meaningful and intentional ways through photo, learning stories, quotes, and artifacts (work samples) to

Current Alberta

Level 3 Early Childhood Educator

Certificate An understanding of

Reggio Emilia

Generative AI and Google Workspace

Apps

and Proficient in technology Knowledge of Early Learning and Child Care Regulations (E.g. ratio requirements) Valid Standard First Aid Certificate and Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search is a MUST Ability to create learning that caters to learning styles. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.

Prefer to have



A second language - we celebrate multilingualism and diverse cultural perspectives! A special interest or skillset such as

visual arts, music and movement, yoga, storytelling, or design

that sparks joy and creativity in your practice. Experience working with newcomers and in diverse, international settings

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.12-$27.12 per hour
