The position at a glance Payments and Clearing Solutions is responsible for the processing of incoming and outgoing wire transfers on a Regional Platform for a variety of currencies. The area provides a full array of Cash Management Services on an around-the-clock basis to the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s customers. Within this department, the ORGA team is responsible for analyzing and documenting the business requirements, testing and implementing the solution. In addition, the team provides functional support to the production teams using the payments systems. The ORGA team works in a close partnership with the business lines, other project teams, and the IT teams to implement projects in an effective manner, and to ensure robust controls and contingency plans are in place.
In detail
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing of the Functional Requirements of the Canada payment system and other systems used by the PCS team
  • Act as a point of contact on matters related to SWIFT/WIRES/LYNX and other payments related topics/issues
  • Create Business Requirement Documents on system enhancements
  • Create and maintain all testing documents: UAT Test Plans, UAT Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Scripts and traceability matrix
  • Work closely with the testers and SME\xe2\x80\x99s to coordinate all testing needs (environments, reports, partner systems)
  • Support the team with project management, system migrations, enhancement
  • Support the Senior SME\xe2\x80\x99s during User Acceptance Testing; conduct specific test cases
  • Provide training/support to the Payments and Clearing Solutions group for all applications and services developed and maintained by the IT team
  • Ensure adherence to all external regulatory and internal policy guidelines as dictated by the position



The strengths and skills that will help you succeed Minimum Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of UAT experience
  • 1-3 Years of experience in corporate banking environment
  • Test Preparation and Execution experience
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Excel & MS Word

Preferred Qualifications;
  • 3 -5 years of relevant experience with a focus around IT analysis and testing
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology and/or Computer Science
  • Previous relevant experience in a banking application testing environment, preferable payment applications
  • Test Preparation and Execution experience
  • Strong problem solving and good analytical skills (defect analysis and reporting)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret large set of data and draw patterns using tools preferably advance MS excel
  • Track record of successful project completion working in a team
  • Good knowledge of software development lifecycle and defect resolution processes in particular
  • Ability to multi-task and test different applications relating to a release
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • MS Excel & MS Office
