Key Responsibilities
Conduct
individual or small group lessons
tailored to each student's learning goals.
Support students with
coursework, tests, and exam preparation
.
Use creative and interactive methods to make lessons engaging and effective.
Assess student understanding and adapt instruction to meet individual needs.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student development and achievements.
Maintain attendance logs and lesson notes for progress tracking.
Qualifications
Minimum
1 year of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
(preferred).
Strong understanding of
Ontario curriculum
for Math, Science, and English (Grades 1-12).
Excellent communication, patience, and organizational skills.
Ability to simplify challenging topics and motivate students.
Comfortable with
online teaching tools
(e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, or similar platforms).
Prior experience working with children or youth in an academic setting is an asset.

Monday-Friday; occasional weekends as required

CA$18.00-CA$20.00 per hour
