Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for helping students understand and master various subjects, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting their academic growth.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Assist students with homework, projects, and exam preparation in specific subject areas. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as needed. Foster a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student performance and areas for improvement. Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts to students. Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable. Classroom experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to manage group dynamics and engage students effectively. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 12 per week
