What you'll be doing
The Trust Administrator will assist a Trust Officer and will support the administration of a portfolio in the Vancouver branch by accurately opening new accounts, preparing initial correspondence, maintaining up-to-date account information, and ensuring timely processing of remittances. Your responsibilities will include assisting with asset and liability statements, client accounting, fee collection, daily transaction processing, and comprehensive asset management such as collection, consolidation, reconciliation, and in-kind transfers. You'll also be minimizing overdrafts, updating asset values and cost bases, and strictly adhering to all CIBC processes and policies to ensure efficient and compliant trust account management.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Pay range - $ 50,000 - $ 52,000 per annum
How you'll succeedClient engagement - Develop and maintain professional client relationships. Interact regularly with Clients, Beneficiaries, Lawyers, Accountants, and Financial Planners to discuss account administration.
Collaboration/Projects - Preliminary research for inquiries received; Investigations and participating in intra and inter-departmental meetings as requested; Participation on committees is encouraged. Annual Projects including preparing QI Documents for signature of the Executive Trust Officer; Preparing Annual Review Packages for files; Updating CLIPs; ensuring AML documentation in file and on TOPS.
