Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain operations and supporting our company's growth.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and issues Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when required to ensure vehicle operability Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities Assist with warehouse operations including freight handling and inventory management when not on the road

Experience

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred Familiarity with forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair is a plus Ability to operate and troubleshoot heavy machinery used in loading/unloading freight Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment and vehicle operation Proven track record of punctuality, reliability, and safe driving practices
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

For city containers work: 1 year (preferred)
