Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator/Truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of trucks including boom trucks, to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment at construction sites or industrial facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of rigging techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. We will provide crane/rigging training to the right candidate, as long as they have a great attitude and are driven to learn and perfect their craft.

Responsibilities

Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift and move materials as required by project specifications. Rig loads properly using appropriate rigging techniques to ensure safety during lifting operations. Conduct pre-operation inspections on cranes and related equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition. Communicate clearly with ground crew members to coordinate movements and ensure safety protocols are followed. Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, including hours of operation and load weights. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns in a professional manner.

Skills

Proven experience operating cranes, particularly boom trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance. Ability to rig loads effectively and safely. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse teams. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients. Customer service orientation to enhance client satisfaction during operations. Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous. Class 1 or class 3 license is preferred, but not mandatory Will provide crane/rigging training for the right candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.50-$42.50 per hour
