Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight and equipment across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and maintain excellent customer service.

Duties

Safely operate various types of trucks, including large freight and heavy equipment vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Assist with the maintenance and minor repairs of trucks and related equipment, including automotive repair tasks when necessary Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage during transit or loading/unloading processes

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues Experience with freight handling and logistics operations preferred Strong attention to safety standards and procedures Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading freight Excellent communication skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules
