. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregates, asphalt, soil, and other construction materials safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all MTO and company regulations.
This is a
full-time, local driving position
-- you'll be home daily.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Operate
Tri-Axle and Pony/End Dump trucks
safely to transport construction materials between job sites.
Perform
daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Load and unload
materials as required, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure loads.
Maintain
accurate trip logs
, delivery tickets, fuel reports, and inspection records.
Follow all
traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
.
Communicate effectively with
dispatchers and site supervisors
to coordinate deliveries.
Report any
vehicle issues, damage, or incidents
immediately to management.
Perform
minor truck maintenance
when necessary to keep the vehicle in good working condition.
Requirements
Minimum
2 years of experience
driving Tri-Axle or Pony/End Dump trucks.
Valid
AZ or DZ license
with a
clean driver's abstract
.
Strong understanding of
aggregate hauling, dump operations, and safety protocols
.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work
daily local routes
.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset.
