We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and the operation of heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our cargo.

Duties

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws while driving. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed. Ensure that all freight is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required. Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Experience in freight handling, including loading and unloading procedures. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
