Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Address customers' complaints or concerns Professionalism in customer service Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations Load and unload goods Pay and receive payments for goods Perform brake adjustments Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Transport and handle dangerous goods
