Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service while transporting goods to designated locations.

Duties

Operate and drive various types of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles. Safely transport freight over designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and roll-off trucks. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Ensure the proper handling of freight, including refrigerated goods and hazardous materials when applicable. Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.

Requirements

Minimum C License Clean driving record Cantonese/Mandarin is an Asset
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1.5 month

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

Commercial driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Class C Licence (required)
