Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join the Caledon Produce Farms Ltd team for the transportation of iced produce to local customers, including the Ontario Food Terminal and surrounding areas in Toronto and the GTA. We are a family-owned broccoli producer in Burford, ON. The successful candidate will operate a 53ft reefer for all deliveries. This position requires a 2:00am start time.

Job duties include:

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including lights, fluids, brakes, tires, trailer condition, load bars/straps, and reefer functioning Maintain accurate driving logs Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, and maintain safe operation of the truck and trailer Ensure timely and quality deliveries at all receiving locations Maintain professionalism with all customers and receivers No direct contact with product - loading/unloading is completed by shipper and receiver
Requirements:

Ability to accommodate a 2:00am start time onsite in Burford, ON Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Air Brake Endorsement Proven experience as a commercial driver Familiarity with freight handling procedures Experience with reefers is an asset Experience with produce is an asset
Schedule: Sunday to Friday
