Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver FOR LOCAL MOVES. MUST HAVE MOVING EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight and cargo to designated locations. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation. Assist in securing freight properly to prevent damage during transit. Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle functionality. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation preferred. Ability to operate forklift and other heavy equipment safely. Knowledge of automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance is a plus. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and transportation. Physical ability to load/unload freight, lift heavy objects, and perform vehicle inspections. Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules. Prior experience operating heavy equipment or performing automotive repairs is advantageous but not mandatory. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery within the transportation industry.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
