Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. This role involves delivering freight efficiently across designated routes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Candidates with experience in driving commercial vehicles and handling freight load and unload tasks are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

Safely operate trucks with manual transmission and other specialized equipment such as forklifts when necessary Drive route-specific deliveries, including flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off truck operations Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit to prevent damage or accidents Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates or delivery issues Assist with loading or unloading freight at various locations as needed

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck operated (e.g., tanker, flatbed) Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery experience Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers or flatbeds Ability to operate specialized equipment like forklifts when required Experience handling different types of freight including freight load & unload procedures Strong knowledge of safety standards related to commercial trucking and cargo securement Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
