We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Candidates with skills in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and forklift operation are highly valued to support various logistical needs.

Duties

Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance freight transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance or repairs when necessary Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management and equipment operation as required

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts and other logistical machinery Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road Strong understanding of safety protocols and traffic regulations Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Excellent communication skills and reliability in meeting delivery deadlines Prior experience with freight handling or warehouse operations is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
