Key Responsibilities:
Operate truck to deliver shipments and unload truck.
Inspect vehicle before and after trips, reporting any issues.
Ensure load is properly secured and complies with safety regulations.
Follow all CFIA and company safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of hours, mileage, and deliveries.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff as needed.
Handle and document delivery paperwork (invoices, delivery receipts, etc.).
Perform basic maintenance tasks and keep the truck clean and presentable.
Perform additional tasks on the production floor when not engaged in driving duties and/or when requested by management.
Additional duties as assigned by management
Experience/Qualifications:
Valid Class 5 license.
Valid Sit-down Counterbalance forklift certificate
Proven experience as a truck driver (minimum 2 years preferred).
Clean driving record (no DUI or major violations).
Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations.
Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Previous experience handling food and understanding of food safety regulations preferred.

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
