Position Title: Truck Driver Class 1-Owner Operator Pin to Pin

Location: Edmonton, AB

Duration: Full-time

Description:

We are looking for professional and safety-oriented Class 1 Owner Operators Truck Drivers for our pin-to-pin highway runs from Edmonton to Fort Nelson to join our fleet! We provide an excellent training program, dedicated late model equipment, opportunities for growth, and all year round work.

Position Summary:

• Competitive mileage rate
• Fuel Discount
• Option to have own insurance or Canada Cartage's provider
• $ 5,000 Sign on Bonus
• Dedicated Rotating schedule 4 on 2 off
• Pin to pin run
• Switches from Edmonton to Fort Nelson (as required driving to Whitehorse)
• Dedicated grocery lanes (providing stability and all year round work)

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 License is required
• Sleeper tractor preferably no older than 10 years
• Minimum 1 year experience with class 1 delivery driving
• Minimum 1 year of mountain driving experience
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with smartphone technology
• Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors
• Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations
• Must be bondable and legally entitled to work in Canada
